About Me

My name is Zoi & I am a native English teacher raised in the United Kingdom. I currently live in Italy with my husband who is from Argentina so I am learning Spanish – I therefore understand the process of learning a new language so can relate to you very well! I enjoy long-term travel & have had the pleasure of visiting over 35 countries. I consider myself a citizen of the world & enjoy immersing myself in different cultures, talking & spending time with people of other nationalities. This is the main reason I love teaching English because I can connect with people from many countries. In my free time I love practicing yoga (which I also teach!), listening to music & going to the cinema.

I have been happily teaching English for over 10 years. My first teaching job was with the University of Edinburgh where I specialised in general conversational lessons focused on improving confidence. I also taught at the Wall Street Institute in Beijing where I specialised in business English working on business vocabulary, improving presentation skills & public speaking. Thereafter, alongside teaching English online, I worked in the corporate world where I was responsible for hiring. I therefore offer job interview preparation classes as I had many years of experience being the interviewer so I know how to help you succeed in your interview!
